Review: Vegan Tiger, Berlin

In Berlin, the “vegan capital” how many people also call it, there’s tons of vegan restaurants. The choice was hard to make, especially if you are an indecisive libra like me. Finally, after a long google search and a lot of walking through the neighborhood “Prenzlauer Berg”, we found this little café which is really cosy, so we decided to have our breakfast here.

I took a whole wheat fresh bread with kalamata olive paste, avocado, tomato, and smoked tofu. The bread was baked crispy and all the ingredients tasted super fresh. The coffee I ordered with it was amazing too.

“Vegan Power Tiger” (Whole wheat bread with avocado, tomato, tofu and kalamata olive paste)

Joël had something quite similar but also delicious, it was whole wheat sandwiches with avocado, smoked tofu, lettuce and tomatoes – mhhh soo good!

The Sandwiches

We got all of that for a reasonable price (mine was 6,40€, the one of Joël we unfortunately don’t remember the exact price, but something around that too). The coffee was with 4,20€ in a normal German price range too.

Unfortunately we were on an explore Berlin trip and did not try anything else because we had a lot of sightseeing on our list. If you are in Berlin though, we can only recommend to try this place. It’s fresh, it’s delicious and it’s in the beautiful area Prenzlauer Berg which you can explore in the same time. So…what are you waiting for? 😉
