Summer time – fresh basil time. And we definitely have too much basil in our garden (actually can you have “too much”?). So our easiest solution to use all of that fresh goodness, was to turn it into pesto. Here’s what we did!
- 2 cups of basil
- 1/2 cup of pine nuts
- 1/4 cup of hemp seeds
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 cup of olive oil
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds. That’s it!
