Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

Cookies are always good as a quick snack in between. These cookies here are even kids approved and completely cruelty free. My babysitter kid loved them and would always ask me to bring some.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or more if you prefer)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ to 1 cup dark chocolate chips

 

Recipe

Preheat the oven at 350F/180C. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, vanilla and maple syrup. Once you’re done, add half of the flour, the cinnamon and the baking soda to the mixture. Finally, stir the remaining flour. You can add up to ¼ cup of water if the mixture seems too dry. Mix in as many chocolate chips as you wish for (I like to keep some to put on top of the cookies later) and for the cookies into 12 to 20 balls. Place them on a greased baking tray and put in the oven for 10 minutes. Let them cool down for a little bit and enjoy!
