On June the 16th we went to the annually march for the closure of all slaughterhouses in Montreal. We went with the amazing Anonymous for the Voiceless group. It was very moving to be in a movement like that and see, how the world is slowly changing. Way more people were waving at us smiling than people that were laughing at us. I believe there is definitely a movement towards a cruelty-free future.
There is however still a lot of stuff people don’t know or don’t want to know about. I don’t want to convert anyone with that, I want to motivate people to think about where their food comes from. I want to inform. Before being vegan I would’ve never really thought about the cruelty that is behind our eggs, dairy and meat.
“But I love my cheese to much” your saying yourself now? Well, would you put your taste buds over the life of an animal? Most people would answer no to this question. So most people are already thinking vegan. If you can choose between the version of your food that was made by taking another beings life or the food that doesn’t hurt anyone, which one would you take?
